The smallest is the Gate Sauna. The crowd is bears and older men mainly. It has a nice jakuzzi and a huge cruisy steam room. You’ll possess to pay extra for a proper cabin, but some basic rooms can be used free of charge. There is also a sling and a adj dark sleeping area.

The most mixed is Apollo. Provides everything and the upper level is nicely renovated. The lower level with the cabins could do with a little spruce up, but nothing to complain about. They have several theme events so check out their site for what is happening.

The newest and biggest is the Boiler. Very modern, very big. It has everything a boy could want for. The crowd is a mix between young and fit . Very nice wet area and no extra fees for cabins.

Berlin has earned its stripes as one of the great gay capitals of the world, with a huge LGBTQ+ community, one-of-a-kind queer bars and an attitude to life that encourages inhabitants to be whoever they please. Over time, this has lent itself to a ton of fantastic club nights, bars and saunas, and new venues are popping up all the time.

Our Berlin writer Nathan Ma knows this city like the back of his hand, and has handpicked the best LGBTQ+ spots all over the capital for cocktails, dancing and a lot of queer joy. Here’s our picks of the best.
