Had enough of gay cruising in Budapest– either in the bars or elsewhere? For those who want a bit more guaranteed action, the gay saunas in Budapest will not disappoint you (unlikely all those faceless Grinder accounts…). Foreigners are typically welcoming through-out the Budapest gay scene, but many guys don’t converse English in the saunas here so you’ll need to be good at reading non-verbal cues.
There are three gay saunas to choose from, and each is relatively easily accessible from most of the central city. Just take a look at our Gay Budapest Map if you need help deciding which is closest. The gay sauna’s in Budapest mostly get crowded on weeknights after 5 pm and on Sunday afternoons. We also found Google Maps helpful for displaying the busiest times for most locations.

If you are looking for the hottest sauna in town, go to Magnum Saunaor Sauna 69and have fun! Although the Rudas Bathhas men-only days on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, these aren’t gay-days per se, as guards are watching the guests to avoid any kind of gay cruising.

The square meters sauna for gay men. It is open since December Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, 12 relax cabins, 6 glory holes, darkroom, massage, video room, free internet and Wifi access, relaxation room with TV; bar with alcoholic beverages (beer, breezers, champagne, wine), non alcoholic, hot and cold drinks, snacks. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any premises.

Opening hours: Mondays till Thursdays 1 pm until 1 am, Fridays 1 pm until 2 am, Saturdays 1 pm until 4 am (closing time may vary on Saturday) and Sundays 1 pm until 1 am.
