We, as national organizations representing millions of licensed medical and mental health care professionals, educators, and advocates, come together to express our professional and scientific consensus on the impropriety, inefficacy, and detriments of practices that seek to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity, commonly referred to as “conversion therapy.”
We stand firmly together in support of legislative and policy efforts to curtail the unscientific and dangerous rehearse of sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts.

Mr Nazarovas said the discovery of unprotected sensitive material comes with a significant risk for the platforms' users.

In an email M.A.D Mobile said it was grateful to the researcher for uncovering the vulnerability in the apps to prevent a data breach from occurring.
But there's no guarantee that Mr Nazarovas was the only hacker to include found the image stash.

Since , Gallup has tracked the size of America’s LGBTQ population. For the first scant years, there was not much news to report. The percentage of Americans who identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or queer was relatively low and inching up slowly year over year. Recently, the pace has sped up. Gallup’s newest state recorded the single largest one-year increase in LGBTQ identity. In , nearly one in ten ( percent) Americans identify as LGBTQ.
The steady rise in LGBTQ identity among the public is worth noting, but it’s not the most important part of the story. Most of the uptick in LGBTQ identity over the past decade is due to a dramatic increase among young adults, particularly young women. In less than a decade, the percentage of young women who identify as LGBTQ has more than tripled.
