Robert downey jr is gay

Andrew Scott, sitting down with a league of actors for The Hollywood Reporter, contributed to a conversation about representation in Hollywood. The actors opened up about their thoughts on multiple issues that have cropped up with the problem of representation. This includes questions related to what kind of actors can participate certain roles, and how the media addresses certain marketable terms to particular groups.

Andrew Scott and Colemon Domingo engaged in a spirited conversation about what they think about the politics that has developed around representation and transformation in Hollywood. Scott pitched to all actors present a particular way to describe actors who are also gay, emphasizing that we stop defining things like &#;gay&#; and &#;openly gay&#; as modifiers. The conversation also grew to involve who could play who, and the overall approach the industry has taken up.

Robert Downey Jr.'s allegedly gay 'Sherlock Holmes.' Seriously?!

Monday night on "The Late Show With David Letterman," Robert Downey Jr. stopped by to promote Sherlock Holmes, in theaters on Friday, and bantered with Dave about the possibility that Arthur Conan Doyle's great detective and his long-suffering sidekick Dr. Watson were more than just mates. The banter went as follows:

Letterman: "Now, from what I recall, there was always the suggestion that there was a different level of relationship between Sherlock and Dr. Watson."

Downey: "You verb that they were homos…"

Letterman: [Laughs.] "Well…"

Downey: "That is what you're saying?"

Letterman: "In a manner of speaking, yes…that they were closer than just out solving crimes. It's sort of touched on in the film, but he has a fiancée, so we're not certain. Is that right?"

Downey: "She could be a beard. Who knows?"

Paul Shaffer: "What are they, complete screamers? Is that what you're saying?"

Detour, February , by Steve Garbarino

It just doesn't happen. When I set out to meet and interview Robert Downey Jr for this month's cover story, I pretty much expected the usual, maybe a little bit more. I'd heard over and over again that he was a nice guy, by Hollywood standards.

Here's what normally would happen: We'd meet for lunch, somewhere obnoxiously trendy (of his, or his publicist's, choice); talk about his upcoming movie projects (that's why stars do these things, after all). Maybe—a big maybe—I'd receive a comment or two about life as he's living it after the drugs, possession conviction, the days of jail occasion, the headlines that chased his every move. We'd tie things up, and some handler would come and whisk him away to his psychic or personal trainer. A few days later, there might be a quickie telephone follow-up. Then the photo shoot (four hours max). And that's it—that's how it happens.

That's not how it happened, though. Instead, we met at the obnoxiously trendy-but-r

Did Robert Downey Jr ever hook up with his Weird Science co-star Robert Rusler?

[quote]I must speak looking at R10s photo, David Arquette is an example of someone who got more attractive as they got older

I’ve been mistaken for David Arquette more times in my life than I can count. When Scream first came out, it got out of control. People stopping me in the streets and following me. I was in a bar and this totally drunk guy was slurring something I couldn’t understand and after saying about five “I’m sorry, I couldn’t quite make that out” his head snapped up and he shouted “Don’t verb to me you Dewey motherfucker!” and a friend burst into laughter and said “he thinks you’re from Scream”.

My own mom called to tell me she saw a guy on tv who looked *exactly* like me and I said “are you watching Scream?” Yup.

But I own totally silver hair now and he, magically, doesn’t, so people don’t do It anymore.
